To the Coulter family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know of you only through Ann occasionally writing about or occasionally mentioning you; I'm 55, but I still admire her to the point of her being one of my heroes and I know that her parents had and have a lot to do with the way she turned out. Mr. Coulter sounds a lot like my dad, who married my mom just after WWII: I was reminded of my parents -- my mom is still living -- by Ann's column that was such a touching tribute. I sent a card to you, care of the Hoyt Funeral Home, but I also wanted to let you know through this way that you all (a "Southern" expression) are still in my thoughts and prayers.
