I cannot express the loss I feel at Jack's passing. We have been friends since my coming to C-A in 1984 and had stayed in touch since his and my retirement. I think the phrase "quiet dignity" so describes Jack. My thoughts and prayers go to his family. I regret I cannot pay my love and respect for him in person, just know that Dee in Tennessee feels your loss.

Dear Gerry and Family,

I was very saddened to learn of Jack's passing. We had the opportunity to share many laughs during our coursework and "travels" at SUNY Albany. Jack was a great guy...just like his brother. He will be missed!

My condolences to the entire O'Grady family.

Sincerely,
Mike

Jack was a leader in the Hudson Valley in HS basketball as a coach and official. Our officials' organization reaped the benefits of his leadership. Most of all, he was a gentleman with class and grace. Rest in peace my friend.

I will always remember Jack as a man who did a great many helpful things for students at CA in gudiance. And as I grow older, my memories of the trips we took for various social outings from basketball games to college visitgations were always started by the statement, "You drive Parker."

You have my deepest sympathies, but he may have found a better resting place.

My heart is saddened! "Uncle Jack" as I came to know him as a young girl who grew to love him. There were many happy times as he joined us for family dinners throughout the years! He was one of a kind! The love and kindness he showed my parents, siblings, and my sons for many many years but because he was like family to us. He was indeed the most wonderful man and gentlemen and true friend to everyone who was blessed enough to know him. May he find the perfect place in heaven he most certainly deserves. My condolences to all of his family.
