Joseph Leonard Angerami

Angerami, Joseph Leonard VIERA, Fla. Joseph Leonard Angerami, 78, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 5, 2022, following a long illness. Born and raised in Schenectady, Joseph was the son of the late Leonard and Carmela Angerami. He graduated from Draper High School, receiving his bachelor's degree from Siena College. Joseph spent his professional life working for the New York State Health Department as a program manager. He also owned and operated his own tax business. He was a great Italian cook and enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends; golfing as a member of Baytree Golf Club; and traveling multiple times a year to Las Vegas. He will be remembered by all who knew him for his love and devotion to his family, his sense of humor and his kindness and thoughtfulness to all. In addition to his parents, Joseph was also predeceased by his brother, Donald Angerami. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Sandra J. Angerami; and his two daughters, Deborah Angerami of Merritt Island, Fla., and Stephanie (Christopher) Larrabee of Colonie. He is also survived by his brother, Rocco (Eleanor) Angerami; and nephews, Rocco, Dean, Joseph, and Vincent. A memorial Mass will be held in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Community, 5655 Stadium Parkway, Viera, Fla. on Wednesday, May 11, at 3 p.m. Livestreaming of the service will be available, details to follow.
