Doris, I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Take comfort that he is now in God's hands, resting. Bless you for making his life special. I am sure he always took comfort knowing you were there each day to caring for him. God bless you both.

To remember Joe - seems he was always part of my life at St. Paul's beginning with "our old church" on Henry Street.. As an usher he enjoyed making us(young teens at the time) sit in the front for church services. Joe & Lydia were an integral part of my life as leaders of our youth group. They would open their home for picnics; organize outings from bowling, roller skating or even a trip to Thatcher Park to singing Christmas Carols to our shut-ins & making wreaths for the church. Church dinners would not be complete without some delicious dish prepared by Joe. His humor and wit were ceaseless

We shared his loss of Lydia in 1978, but Joe was lucky enough to find Doris and share his later years with a second devoted wife. I am honored to have known Joe Marks and call him my friend.

Doris, Ralph, Wayne - my heart & prayers are with you now. Find comfort in knowing he is free from the pain of this earthly life and has at last been called to His Father's waiting arms.
