Timpanaro, Julia M. MECHANICVILLE Julia M. Timpanaro, 72, of Hudson River Road, died unexpectedly Friday morning August 19, 2011 at Ellis Hospital, after a brief illness. Born in Teaneck, N.J., March 30, 1939, daughter of the late Vincent and Louise Bachert Della-Torre, she was the widow of Dominick Timpanaro, who died December 31, 2003. She worked for the Shenendahowa School District food services program for a number of years. Julie assisted her late husband with the operation of the former Joyce's Log Cabin in Mechanicville for many years. A member of Mechanicville Senior Citizens and the Assumption-St. Paul Church, Julie enjoyed attending her children's and grandchildren's school academic and sporting events. She enjoyed various types of crafts, needlepoint, flower gardening, but her best times were being with her kids, grandchildren and friends. Survivors include her daughter Angela and husband Robert Tyson of Syracuse; sons, Dominick and wife Patricia Timpanaro, Sr. of Clifton Park and Anthony and wife Mary Jo Timpanaro of Mechanicville; six grandchildren, Annika and Avery Tyson, Dominick III, Victoria, Nicholas and Jonathan Timpanaro. Also sisters, Fran (Sabo) Sellarolle and Gladys DellaTorre of New Jersey, along with in-laws, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Vincent and Harold DellaTorre. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, at 9 a.m. at the All Saints on the Hudson North Church (St. Paul's) 121 No. Main St, Mechanicville. Burial to follow in Saratoga National Cemetery.
