Karl Krosky Obituary
GUILDERLAND - Karl M. Krosky, 71, of Guilderland, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Albany and was the son of the late William and Clara Krosky. Karl was a lineman with Niagara Mohawk for forty-two years. Following retirement, he was an antique dealer. Karl was a member of the Hadlock Fish and Game Club and the West Albany Rod and Gun Club. He was the President of 25-year club for Niagara Mohawk retirees. Karl had served on the Board of Directors for the Altamont Fair.
He is the father of Michael (Jamie) Krosky, Jeremy Krosky and Brett Krosky. He is the grandfather of Alexander Krosky. Karl is the brother of his twin sister, Karen McDonough, Ronald (Sue) Krosky and Robert (Rose) Krosky. He is also survived by his longtime girlfriend, Kristne Gould and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He will be reunited with his longtime canine companion, Star.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Karl's family on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cannon Funeral Home, 2020 Central Ave., Colonie. A prayer service will be offered at 6:30 p.m. Interment will be in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery.
