Perry, Katherine ALBANY Katherine Bonnie Lee (nee Kastner) Perry, 66 of Albany, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021. Born in Mellenville, N.Y. on April 10, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Sidney and Katherine (nee Jostlen) Kastner. She was raised and educated in the Albany area and was a lifelong resident. She was employed by the Fort Orange Club in Albany for several years. Katherine enjoyed reading, music, crafts, specifically jewelry making and loved to cook for her family and friends. She will be remembered as an animal lover. Katherine adopted many cats over the years and considered them her children. Married on November 5, 1988, Katherine is survived by her beloved husband and best friend, Paul Perry. She is also survived by her many loving and dear friends, including, Jean Hallenbeck and her children, Amber (Scott) Chambers, Andrew (Summer) Hallenbeck III, Quentin (Meghan) Hallenbeck and Nichole Hallenbeck and Karen (Dale) Herbet and Kim (Michael) Yanni. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Ruth Ann Kastner. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 18, at 10 a.m. in the Tebbutt Funeral Home, 633 Central Ave., Albany followed by interment in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
