Kenneth Hauprich Obituary

Hauprich, Sr. Airman Kenneth Paul Jr. JAMESTOWN, Ohio Senior Airman Kenneth Paul Hauprich Jr., 22, born April 10, 1985, died November 8, 2007. He was doing what he wanted to do his entire life and that was to follow in his father's and mother's footsteps and serve this great country. As with all his endeavors, Kenny was a stellar airman! Kenny was a 2004 graduate of Greeneview High School and, during his years there, he played football, wrestled, sang in the choir and loved being in plays. Kenny's smile, bright blue eyes and sparkling personality made it hard not to instantly like him. Kenny always gave 150% of himself in everything that he did. He had dreams that someday he would play football and that he did. He was stationed at Aviano AB where they saw him as an awesome athlete. His nickname was "Gazelle" because he was so quick. He played for the NFL Italy team where he was the starting receiver. Survived by loving wife, Kara (Dysart); a daughter, Emma Grace, born August 3, 2007; parents, Kenneth (M.Sgt. USAF Retired) and Lorri Hauprich; twin sister, Senior Airman Elizabeth Hauprich, younger sister, Airman First Class Christina Hauprich and brother, Ronald Hauprich; grandparents, Donald and Mary Jean Hauprich of Albany, N.Y. and Janice Duncan; mother and father-in-law, Barb and Virgil Jones; nephew, Joseph; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be at WPAFB Chapel #3, 6568 Chapel Lane, Dayton, Ohio on Tuesday, November 20 at 10:30 a.m. Calling at Greeneview High School, Jamestown, Ohio, November 19, 4-8 p.m. Memorial contributions to Kenny Hauprich Scholarship Fund in care of the Greeneview High School.

As Kenny's Grandma's doctor, I felt their grief and share your pain at such a terrible loss. I thank God for his Heaven and know we will all be happy together when this dark dream has passed like a storm cloud.

As a military mom I would like to let you know that you are in my prayers and thoughts. Your son gave his all and we are very thankful, not just to him but to all of your family. May God bless all of you and keep you wrapped in His loving arms as you go through the grieving process. Remember all of the fun memories you have of your son.
