Lawrence Westervelt Obituary

Westervelt, Lawrence Jr.
RAVENA - Lawrence H. "Larry" Westervelt Jr., 58, of Ravena, passed away, on June 15, 2025, after a brief illness, with his loving family by his side.
Born in Albany, N.Y., on November 12, 1966, he is the son of Lawrence H. and Darleen D. (Alberts) Westervelt Sr.
In addition to his parents, Larry is survived by his brother, David Westervelt; and sister-in-law, Patti. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Kim and Steve Sebert; his aunt and caretaker, Donna Alberts; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his uncles, Fred and Larry Alberts; and his aunt, Shirley Gransbury.
Larry was a graduate of Coconut Creek High School in Coconut Creek, Broward County, Fla., class of 1984. Larry was an avid lover of animals, art, cooking, music, NASCAR and the Dallas Cowboys. He also leaves behind his favorite cats, Moose and Blackie.
Funeral services will be private, and held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Babcock Funeral Home, 19 Pulver Ave., Ravena, N.Y. 12143.
In lieu of flowers, contribution in memory of Larry can be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society, 3 Oakland Ave., Menands, N.Y. 12204.
