Lori LaFave Obituary

VOORHEESVILLE Lori Tiffany LaFave, 44, passed away at her home with her family by her side on September 10, 2003 after a long battle with cancer. Born in Lowville, N.Y., she was the wife of 21 years of Michael V. LaFave and mother of Brett and Sarah LaFave. She was the daughter of Sarah McCue Tiffany and the late Donald Tiffany. Lori was raised in Glenfield, N.Y., graduated from South Lewis High School in 1977 and from SUNY Morrisville in 1979. She was employed as office manager at the LaFave Law Firm in Delmar. Lori is also survived by three sisters, Linda Seymour of Richmond, Va., Margaret Jaconski of Manlius, N.Y. and Barbara Kellogg of Hadley, Mass.; two brothers, Ronald Tiffany of Liverpool, N.Y. and Richard Tiffany of Croghan, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. Lori enjoyed many activities, but most of all she loved her family. Her funeral will be held at the Voorheesville First United Methodist Church at 9:30 a.m. Monday, September 15 with the Rev. Denise Stringer officiating. Calling hours will be Sunday from 4-8 p.m. in the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Voorheesville. Burial will be in the Glendale Cemetery in Glenfield, N.Y. under the direction of the Virkler-Percoski Funeral Home, Lowville, N.Y. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Community Hospice of Albany County, 445 New Karner Rd., Albany, NY 12205, the Community Care Givers, Inc., 300 Millrose Ct., Guilderland, NY 12084 or the Voorheesville First United Methodist Church, 68 Maple Ave., Voorheesville, NY 12186.
