Lucille M. Knighton

Knighton, Lucille M. ALBANY Lucille M. Knighton, 92, died Friday, August 27, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital, Troy. She was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Alton and Mabel Tennant Young. Lucille was a graduate of Russell Sage College, Troy. She was a secretary in her late husband's dental practice on Madison Avenue in Albany and also for the Bethlehem Central School System. Lucille was a volunteer and a member of the Delmar Progress Club. She was a member also of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Albany. Lucille was the wife of the late Dr. John M. Knighton and is survived by a son, Robert M. (Lynda) Knighton of New Baltimore; a daughter, Joyce (Robert) Christianson of Parker, Colo.; grandchildren, Hillary (Ian) Schrauf, Andrew Christianson and Erika Soderling; great-grandson, Peter John Christianson. A memorial service will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, State Street, Albany. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
