Lynette Peterson Obituary

Peterson, Lynette EAST POESTENKILL Lynette Jones Peterson, 84, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, March 1, 2008, in Stockton, Ala. after a long illness. Born and raised in Poestenkill, Lynette was the daughter of the late Lee and Louise Scowden Jones. Lynette was a homemaker and had resided in Syracuse for a number of years before moving to Stockton two years ago. Lynette was an avid golfer and tennis player. Lynette was the sister of the late Curtis, Livingston, Russell and Warren Jones. Survivors include her husband Roger Peterson of East Poestenkill; a son, Edward Peterson of East Poestenkill; a daughter Susan Carberry of Stockton; and several grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service for Lynette on Saturday, November 29, 2008, 10 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, Legenbauer Road, East Poestenkill, N.Y.
