Brizzell, Marilyn Alice ALBANY Marilyn Alice Brizzell passed peacefully into eternal life, at the age of 63, on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany after a brief illness. Marilyn was born in Albany on January 18, 1958, to Andrew E. and Marian P. (Boll) Brizzell and she resided in Albany for much of her life. Educated at the Loudonville Elementary School and Shaker High School, Marilyn enjoyed the times spent on her family's farm on Bacon Lane. She was most happy when she was spending time with her family. She loved the holiday season, playing scrabble with her mother, dancing, music and butterflies. Her family wishes to offer their heartfelt thanks to the CDPC staff for the loving care they provided to Marilyn and whom she thought of as her second family. She was the much-loved sister of Connie (Peter) Gordon, Bill (Mary) Brizzell, Jim (late Kathy) Brizzell, Rosemary (Bruce) Loveland, George (Kathy) Brizzell, John (Cathy) Brizzell, David (Bridget) Brizzell, Nancy (Rick) Weiss, Janet (Terry) Tripp, Sue Ann Brizzell and her late brothers, A. Charles Brizzell (wife Michelle survives) and Walter Brizzell. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews as well as special niece, Jessica Marian Loveland; and her dear friend Robert Mann. A funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Reverend Kenneth Doyle on Monday, October 11, at 11:30 a.m. in St. Pius X Church, 23 Crumitie Road, Loudonville. Interment will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in Colonie. Friends are invited to attend and may also visit at the Bowen & Parker Bros. Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham on Monday, prior to the Mass, from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to a favorite charity of one's choice
