Karrk, Marion M. RAVENA Marion M. Karrk, 96, passed away peacefully at home on November 1, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Karrk. Marion graduated from Ravena High School and Albany Business College. She was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during World War II and in 1976, retired from the U.S. Navy Reserve. Marion worked for the NYS Department of Education, retiring in 1983, after many years of service. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling and traveling. Marion was a communicant of The Church of St. Patrick, Ravena. Survivors, include her nephew, Michael (Kim) Persico; nieces, Rosanne (Rebecca) Persico and Christine Persico; great-nephews, Joseph, Michael and Nicholas Persico; great-nieces, Everly and Emerson Garrard-Persico; and several cousins. Marion was predeceased by her sisters, Lucy Shields and her husband Edward and Peggy Persico and her husband Jimmy. A funeral Mass for Marion will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 6, in The Church of St. Patrick, Ravena. Friends may call at the church prior to the service starting at 10 a.m. The family would like you to consider, in lieu of flowers, a contribution in memory of Marion to The Church of St. Patrick, 21 Main St., Ravena, NY 12143 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.

So sorry for your loss. Marion was a great person and I would stop and visit her often when showing homes by her in Ravena. She will be greatly missed.
