Dear Mr & Mrs Galbraith and family,
I was severely saddened to hear about Mark. He was my best friend in life and I was his best friend. When Mark and I were at Johnson & Wales together we were inseparable. We both had a major influence on each other and learned much about ourselves. Mark was my Best Man at my wedding to Marjorie and I will never forget those memories from that weekend! Especially him blow drying his locks, having jack straight up, smoking a cigarette and talking a mile a minute all while standing in my kitchen in a towel! What a hoot he was and I loved him very much. I am so thankful that we were able to reconnect after all those years, and spend time together and talk on the phone. I will always keep his memory close to my heart. I am sure that he and Josh got to meet up. Thank you both for always being so kind and welcoming toward me. Please know your family is special and will always be in my prayers.

Mark and I were good friends at Johnson & Wales way back in the day. Though we'd lost touch over the past 30 years, a year ago April, Mark joined Scott and me on a weekend camping trip to the Adirondacks. We reconnected as if 30 years had never passed. I'm so grateful to have a recent memory to hold dear. I've attached a photo of him from that weekend. The world has lost a very sweet soul; he will be dearly missed. My deepest sympathy.

Mark was a true inspiration to me in high school. Life was better with him in it. He had no fear and seemed to find all the good in life. He was himself! And proud of it! I didn't see him much over the past years, but his laugh, smile, sense of humor, and loving heart have always been with me. Crack those angels up buddy!

Mark LIVED life..
and I consider myself so fortunate to have shared so many of lifes moments with him. Time passed and distance kept us from seeing much of each other but love for a true friend never changes, and that Mark was. He will be in my heart and memories forever. We are all saddened...and yet I choose to envision Mark embarking on his new journey smiling, laughing, edorned with his turquoise jewelery, dressed to the nines, flowing hair in his little white maverick-- the trunk bungi corded closed and markered up with Jeff Stewart artwork singing at the top of his lungs "like a bat out of hell" on his way to heaven and peace!
Peace be with you Mark and the Galbraith Family.

To the Galbraith family,

Mark and I were friends for a very long time especially in middle school. My fondest memories are how Mark carried my lunch tray for me everyday because I was on crutches and being at York Beach playing skee ball at the Fun O Rama, the fun we had skipping rocks near the ocean and getting a frappe at the Goldenrod. I checked in on him from time to time when I was in Albany and we always had a good laugh. I am so glad to have known a person such as Mark. There is no doubt that the angels in heaven are rejoicing his arrival.
