LaPierre, Mark J. CLIFTON PARK Mark J. LaPierre, 68 of Waite Road, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady after a brief illness. He was born on April 9, 1953, and was the son of the late Helen Andre LaPierre. He was educated in the Bethlehem School system and spent his professional career as a plumber and pipefitter with Local 7. Mark enjoyed his summers boating on Lake Champlain. He was the beloved husband of Debra Lee Borden LaPierre, whom he married on May 9, 2002. They just celebrated their 19th Anniversary. He was the stepfather of Tara (Rodney) Smallwood; grandfather of Mackenzie Smallwood; brother of Bruce (Deborah) LaPierre, Barbara (Robert) Glynn and the late Richard LaPierre and his wife who survives, Robin; and is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A private cremation funeral service will be held in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rte. 9, Clifton Park. For online condolences please visit gordoncemerickfuneralhome.com
