I only knew Marty as one of the lucky few who would often assist him to his car after the 10am mass on Sunday. He always welcomed a helping hand and was quick to introduce himself as "Marty Hughes". In a short time, one learned quickly the love and devotion he had for his wife and three boys. He was a proud man who I became fond of after each encounter with him. I learned of his passing through prayers at church this morning. I will miss seeing him at church but I know he is at peace with his true love. My prayers to his family.

I first met Marty in the late 90's when I was a Sales Rep at Channel 13 and he was at Nicholas Auto Sales. Over the years we had many a chat about Sales and his long distinguished career in automotive sales. He was something...always smiling and positive....I'm sure he is in heaven with his bride. Rest in Peace Marty. My condolences to the Hughes family.
