Mary E. Haley

Haley, Mary E. GUILDERLAND Mary E. Culhane Haley, 85, of Guilderland, died Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Haley was born in Syracuse, but lived most of her life in the Capital District. She was employed for many years by the Atmospheric Sciences Research Center of the State University of New York at Albany. She also was a communicant of St. Margaret Mary's Church in Albany. Mrs. Haley was predeceased by her husband, Robert F. Haley. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Andress (Richard) of Albany; her sons, Lawrence Haley (Debi) of Worcester, Mass. and John Haley (Lynne) of Albany; her sister, Nancy Gannon of Syracuse; and her grandchildren, John and Libby Andress, Tara Kelly (Thomas), Megan Haley, Madelyn Haley, Colin Haley (Amory), and Brendan Haley. The Haley family would like to thank Mary's neighbors for the help and friendship that they extended to her. Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Friday morning at 11:15, and from there to St. Margaret Mary's Church, Homestead St., Albany at 12:00 noon. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Entombment will be in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery, Glenmont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital City Rescue Mission, 259 So. Pearl St., Albany, NY 12202.
