McLeer, Mary A. LOUDONVILLE Mary A. McLeer passed away peacefully Friday, August 17, 2018, at the Albany County Nursing Home. Born in New Britain, Conn., she was the daughter of the late William and Agnes Lynes Hennessy. Mary was a teacher at the former St. Teresa of Avila School in Albany for many years before her retirement. She was an avid swimmer, enjoyed travelling to the coast of Maine, and spending time with her family. She was the beloved mother of Timothy McLeer and Elizabeth (Vincent) Catalano; also survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sons, Daniel, Edward, and Michael; and her brother, James Hennessy (Patricia). Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 21, at 12:30 p.m. at St. Pius X Church, Loudonville. The Rite of Interment will immediately follow the Mass in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. There will be no calling hours.
