Mary L. "Mickey" Parascandola

Parascandola, Mary "Mickey" L. AVERILL PARK Mary "Mickey" L. Parascandola, age 76 of Averill Park, died peacefully at home on Friday, August 5, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., to parents Francis Greene and Anna Geisler Greene. Mary loved to shop, play Rummikub and watch Cooking with Brenda Gantt. She is survived by her children, Albert Parascandola, Alexia (William) Rohl; and beloved grandchildren, whom she loved very much, William Anthony Rohl, Marie Shaun Parascandola, and Christopher David Parascandola; brother, Frederick Greene; sisters, Loretta Devita and Arlene Losue. She will also be missed by many of her beloved nieces and nephews, whom she adored. Along with her parents she is predeceased by her husband of 52 years Anthony V. Parascandola; brothers, Charles Greene and Ronald Greene; sisters, Francis Lamarre, Anne Cuomo, RoseMarie Militano, Patricia Claro, Eleanor Papaleo, Barbara Kania, and Joann Struthers. The family would like to thank the many friends that helped during Mary's illness. The family would also like to thank Community Hospice and they're dedicated staff especially Michelle, Denise and Nick and a special thanks to Father Tom Holmes. Funeral services will be held private at the convenience of the family.
