Mary Cecelia Russette

Russette, Mary HUDSON Mary Cecelia Russette, 95, of Hudson, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Pine Haven Nursing Home in Philmont. Born on November 21, 1913 in Athens, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Giovanna (Gabriele) Veltri. Mary was a floor supervisor for several local pocketbook factories and later was a stenographer for the Office of the Aged in Hudson. She is survived by one son, John W. and (Helen) Russette of Fleming Island, Fla.; grandsons, Marc Anthony, Michael J. and Nicholas Russette. She was pre-deceased by her husband, John W. Russette, in 1974; as well as brothers, Gabriel, John, Anthony, Louis, Frank, Jackquine and Carmine Veltri. Calling hours will be Friday, October 16 from 10-12:30 p.m. at Valenti and Richards Funeral Home, 700 Town Hall Drive, Hudson NY 12534. A funeral Mass will be at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, 429 E. Allen St., Hudson, with Fr. Winston Bath officiating. Burial in the family plot will follow in Cedar Park Cemetery.
