Sager, Mary A.
NISKAYUNA - Mary A. Sager, 84, entered Eternal Life, Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Delmar Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing. Born in Albany, Mary was the beloved daughter of John and Mary Yesilonios Sager.
She was a graduate of The College of Saint Rose and went on to work for General Electric before working for other companies. Mary loved all animals, but especially horses and was affiliated with Winter Glen Farm. She was active in The College of Saint Rose Alumni Association. She enjoyed baking, gardening and cooking.
She was the sister of the late Patricia Sager; survived by many cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mary's family, Thursday, October 23, 2025, 3 to 6 p.m., at Lasak & Gigliotti Funeral Home, 208 North Allen St., Albany, N.Y. 12206. Please enter the Funeral Home from the rear parking lot entrance only.
Funeral services Friday, October 24, 2025 at 9 a.m., at St. Kateri Tekawitha Parish, 1803 Union St., Schenectady, N.Y. 12309, where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated. The Rite of Committal will be held at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, N.Y., immediately following the Mass.
