Diane, Carol, and Family, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. My father (Adam Gage) was in the army with your father and they kept in touch after they were discharged. My brother Peter and I fondly remember visiting your house in Guilderland and what a warm welcoming place it was. Your mother was so sweet and lovely and I'm happy that our parents stayed in touch all those years. Sorry for your loss.

I did not know your mom but her obituary tells us how one can make the best of life at any stage. I pray that if I make it to her age, I will be able to contribute and participate in every way possible and dance until the end! May her memories keep your family smiling.

What can you say when one hears of the passing of the woman who was the matriarch of RuthTerrace? Many of the times, I found myself at their home for picnics in the backyard or playing pool in the basement when Josh would be up from North Carolina.
I will miss the, Hello, how are you doing, but will cherish the memories of her warmth and compassion she provided to me during my childhood. I am so sorry for your loss. Know that she is now with Harry.

Diane, Carol and families. I am so sorry to learn of your mom's passing. We were very close neighbors on Ruth Terr. Miss the "ole" days. It was a great childhood and many fond memories of your mom. Last time I saw her I asked if I could call her "Mary", as a child I always called her "Mrs. Shearer", and she said it was okay. I think I was at least 55 at that time. It was pretty funny and weird to call her "Mary". Just a little memory. All the best to you all. Sandra Roselan Hendery
