Matt's fire is carried forward. My fears in my life were tempered by him. I would not be who I am without having loved him. His vigor and meticulous conquering of the chosen endeavors was admirable and remarkable, and remains a mysterious shining star, brightening my views of the spectrum of capabilities, beauty and novelty that exists in my fellow man. Blessings to Jeff and Shelly this day and every day. We love you.

In six years things have changed. Moments Roar. X. Silent Darkness glimmers... Soul searching ships glide X. Days go by seasons change you have touched my heart I shall never be the same. To walk this Earth alone and seek waiting to hear the words God only can speak. In God we all lie now sometimes forgetting I am never alone somehow. You are here I am not... Passers-by. It's never completely dark.

I am very sorry about the passing of your son Matt. I taught Matt in PE his Senior year at CHS and he was always full of life. He truly made the best of every moment in his life and I am very sorry about your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

My entire family are profoundly saddened by the loss of Matt, and all our hearts and thoughts reach out to you now.
I only saw Matt a handful of times, and yet I felt I knew him, through you two--(a parents love). The stories you told me of Matt's growing up were filled with his triumphs, sorrows, but mostly humor and love. It's the good times I think we remember most.
For me Matt will always be remembered as a little boy and his visit to a toy store in Manhattan. I will never forget the joy and excitement he had that day... And from what you've told me Matt seemed to carry that same enthusiasm into all parts of his life, as a teenager and as a young man.
I consider myself blessed to be one of lives that was touched by Matty. He will be missed and always sweetly remembered.

I used to love listening to all of your Matt stories while he was growing up and we worked together at RCDSS. I have wonderful memories of Matt as a young boy, and running around your house and yard.

Matt will surely be missed I can remember it like yesterday,The fun times in math in our sophomore year and all the priceless times of high school. This is a great loss. My sincerest apologies and support go out to the Briscoe Family.

Terribly sorry to hear about your loss. I went to High School with Matt and sometimes we would hang out at John's place. I specifically remember this thick winter where we all got into a huge snowball fight together. He was a good egg, R.I.P. Matty!

I was so very sad to read of Matthew's passing. It has been many years, but I remember Matthew fondly from my years working at Teddy Bear Day Care in East Greenbush. Matthew was such a beautiful, sweet little boy with a bright and quick smile. I'm sorry I didn't know him as a young man.

Matt, My awsome big cousin. You were always kind, loving, and full of joy.
