Matthew Martell

Martell, Matthew WATERVLIET Matthew Martell, 46, at rest on October 14, 2013. Born in Cohoes on July 20, 1967, Matthew was the son of Archie H. Martell of Berne and Connie M. (James) Martell of Watervliet. He was raised in Troy where he attended St. Augustine's School and later Lansingburgh High School. He most recently resided in Watervliet. Matthew was employed by Advance Auto Parts in Troy and Watervliet. He enjoyed cooking and will be missed by all those who knew and loved him. Matthew was the father of Matthew J. Martell; former husband of Lisa Nerf; brother of Mark, Michael, Mitchel and Naomi; nephew of Robert James; uncle of the late Nathan. He is further survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. A service in appreciation for the life of Matthew will be held on Friday at 6 p.m. in the Parker Bros. Memorial, 2013 Broadway, Watervliet. Visiting with his family will be held on Friday, prior to the service, from 5 until 6 p.m. A private interment will be held in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Watervliet.
