My husband was at the Superbowl in 2018 and my car broke down, so our neighbor families came together to make sure all was well and tried to jokingly prank talk me into buying a new car and surprise my husband who’s name is also Michael. So this was the video I send hubby. I am in Suriname when I heard the news. My heart aches. He said good morning the day before I left, he kind of walked towards the mail box but it was too early for the mail. I said beautiful day today Mike, he answered yes it is. We both said have a great day and he walked back into his garage. For a second in the back of my head I thought that was a lil weird.. because it felt like he just came out to say hi to me..he sure did, that was his last goodbye
We lost a great neighbor who was like family to us. Condolences to Sharon, his children and the rest of the family. Beloved Mike RIP

Whenever I was in the presence of Mr. Gildea he was upbeat, happy & great fun to be around! A beautiful soul taken too soon. He was a hard working family man & my heart is broken for the Gildea family! Rest In Peace Mr. Gildea/Mike, I am grateful for the times I was in your presence. Much love to the Gildea family, thinking of you always❤

Sharon, I was so shocked and saddened to hear about Mike’s passing. I have so many happy memories with the two of you and the girls; softball games, BBQ’s, parties and more. Betty and I send our love and prayers to the whole family during this saddened time. Mike was a great neighbor and friend.
