CLIFTON PARK - Beloved son, brother, husband, and father, Michael James Kelly, passed away on November 17, 2025.
Born in Troy, N.Y., to his loving parents, James Francis and Elizabeth Ann. Graduated Troy High, '77, earned a BA at SUNY Potsdam, where he met his wife, Tina Marie, then joined the Air Force, traveled to both ends of the Earth while flying with the NYANG 139 AS as C-130 Nav; obtained rank as Maj. Mike's long industrious career concluded at the Arsenal as Information Security Manager.
Passionate about serving others, Michael's time as a pack leader in Boy Scouts, youth sports coach, and annual champion of Toys for Tots are all emblematic of his generous spirit. An avid sports lover, he rode the highs and lows of the NY Giants and St. Louis Cardinals. A baseball player, golfer, fisherman, boater, hiker, and adventurer, Michael imparted his love of the outdoors to his family whom he cherished with all his heart.
He was predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Ann; and his infant son, David Jude.
Michael is survived by his father, James Francis; his brothers, James Joseph and Patrick Jude; his sons, Brendan Michael and Connor Bryant; and his loving wife, Tina Marie.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 25, at Glenville Funeral Home, 9 Glenridge Rd., Glenville, from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, 167 Milton Ave., Ballston Spa, N.Y. 12020, on Wednesday, November 26, at 10:30 a.m.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, in Troy.
