McCarville, Michelle E. ALBANY Michelle "Shelli" Elise McCarville, 59 of Albany, passed peacefully on December 17, 2020, at Albany Medical Center Hospital from an unexpected cardiac event. Born on July 7, 1961, in Oakland, Calif. to the late Eugene A. and Mary ST Guyer. Shelli graduated from Saugerties High School in 1979 and received her Paralegal Certificate from the Junior College of Albany. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Brian; daughter Jennifer; brother Michael Guyer (Cathy); inlaws, Tom and Ann; and brothers-in-law, Thom and Scott. Shelli's light of her life was her daughter Jennifer. She was a fierce mother and devoted wife. She was passionate about connecting with people. This was evident throughout her careers from Albany Med, Capitol Region Orthopedics to Northwestern Mutual, where she last worked as an associate financial representative. She would take the time to get to know her clients and make them feel like family. In following her wishes due to COVID-19 restrictions a memorial service will be postponed to a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the following way to help with Jennifer's higher education learning: Jennifer Elise McCarville, Trustco Bank, 372 Northern Blvd., Albany, NY 12204. A GoFundMe account has also been created. To leave a message for the family, please visit www.McveighFuneralHome.com

To Brian, Jennifer, and all of Shelli's family and friends, I am so incredibly sorry for your loss. I met Shelli back in the Provence days and Jennifer, I was at your baby shower. You're mom was so excited to be pregnant with you and I'm sure she was your best friend and mama bear. She was a good lady and alot of fun. Hold each other close and remember all the happy memories. Sending love and prayers for comfort.
