Milton Mull Obituary

Mull, Milton D. AVERILL PARK, N.Y. Milton D. Mull, 75, of Penny Lane, died on Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at his residence after a long illness. Born in Bennington, Vt., he was the son of the late Nicholas and Lillian Parkinson Mull. Milton was a graduate of the Arlington Memorial High School and then went on to serve in the Marines from 1950-1952. He had served in the Japan and Korean areas. Milton had been a logger for H. Stone Logging in Sunder-land, Vt. before working for the Norton Co. in Watervliet where he had been a machine operator. He had retired in 1985 after 32 years of service. Milton had resided in Averill Park since 1968. For six months of the year, Milton would reside at Howell's Campground in Arlington, Vt. He had done this for many years. He was an avid bowler and bowled with Ed's Garage and the Norton Co. Bowling Leagues. Milton enjoyed fishing, going to OTB and horse racing. He loved the hunting season and enjoyed going with his good friends, Edward Burns and the late David Smith, and his grandsons, Keith and Kevin. Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Marjorie Jones Mull; a son, Brian (Dalemarie) Mull of West Sand Lake, N.Y.; five daughters, Cheryl Dorau of Cape Coral, Fla., Brenda McFarland of Averill Park, Jill (Robert) Keyes of Wynantskill, Gail (John) Beckwith of Homo Sassa, Fla. and Lisa (Gerald) Hoyt of Cape Coral; two sisters, Beverly Drake of Poultney, Vt. and Phyllis Allen of Arlington; a brother, Randal Mull of Grand Jet, Colo.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Milton was the father of the late Mark D. Mull. Funeral Monday 10 a.m. at the Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel, 2691 NY 43 at Glass Lake, Averill Park, N.Y. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral chapel on Sunday 2-5 p.m. Interment, Evergreen Cemetery, Arlington. If desired, donations in memory of Milton D. Mull, may be made to the Community Hospice of Rensselaer Co., 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144 or the Sand Lake Ambulance, P.O. Box 222, West Sand Lake, NY 12196.

To the Mull family,
Marty and I are sorry for the loss of your father. He is now in the hands of the Lord and will be watching over you.
We were away for weekend, but arrived at the funeral palor a little after 5 PM.
