CLIFTON PARK - Nelson Henderson Beebe, 75, of Clifton Park, passed away peacefully at home on November 17, 2025, due to heart failure. Born on May 12, 1950, in Troy, to the late Arba and Jane Beebe, Nelson grew up surrounded by the joys of small-town life. His childhood was filled with fond memories; football games where he proudly quarterbacked his high school team, fast breaks down the basketball court, and weekends spent skiing at Mount Snow, where he and his family cherished their time at the beloved Snow Barn.
Nelson graduated from Averill Park High School before earning his degree from Ithaca College. His sharp mind and strong work ethic led him to become a Certified Public Accountant, a profession in which he found both pride and purpose. Over the years, he worked with Shaye, Lutz, Schwartz & King, Coopers & Lybrand, and Mega Insurance before ultimately establishing his own CPA practice. His clients valued not only his expertise but also his sincerity and genuine desire to help others.
Throughout his life, Nelson called several places home: Miami, Averill Park, North Greenbush, and finally Clifton Park. In each one, he built connections that lasted. A sports enthusiast with a contagious passion, he delighted in cheering on his grandchildren as they excelled in their various activities. His greatest joy in life came from time spent with family. Whether watching a game, tending to his garden, or enjoying a quiet moment together, Nelson was at his happiest when surrounded by those he loved.
He is survived by his devoted partner, Lois Pflomm, whose love and support brought deep comfort to him and his family. He is also survived by his cherished children, Julianne (Todd) Teresco and Michael (Alison) Beebe; his beloved grandchildren, Zachary, Alexandra, and Michael Teresco, and Emma and Gavin Beebe; his sister, Barbara (Thomas) Kelly; nephew, Sean (Tara) Kelly; and niece, Sharon (Paul) Loomis. Nelson was predeceased by his parents, Arba and Jane Beebe. Nelson's family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to Lois for her unwavering dedication, love, and care during Nelson's most challenging times. Your kindness has been a blessing and will never be forgotten.
A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Parker Bros. Memorial Funeral Home, Watervliet, with interment following in Albany Rural Cemetery.
