Nicholas Vriniotis Obituary

Vriniotis, Nicholas
VOORHEESVILLE - Nicholas Vriniotis, 80, of Voorheesville, N.Y., passed away peacefully on November 27, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
Nicholas was born July 16, 1945 in Gialtra, Evia, Greece, to the late George and Grammato Vriniotis. He was educated in Greece, went on to serve two years in the Hellenic Coast Guard, and later immigrated to Albany, N.Y., in 1969.
In 1973, Nicholas married the love of his life, Barbara Jean Fusco, and they raised a family together, while managing their rental properties. Nicholas also built new homes with his cousins. He was a parishioner of St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church for many years. In his spare time, he was an avid vegetable gardener.
Nicholas's memory will be cherished by his devoted wife of 52 years, Barbara Fusco Vriniotis; his children, George Vriniotis (Heidi) and Mary Vriniotis; and his grandchildren, Nicholas Scott Vriniotis, Gabriella Lynn Vriniotis, and David Cody Vriniotis.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Tebbutt Funeral Home, 633 Central Ave., Albany N.Y., on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m., with a Trisagion memorial service at 6:30 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church, 440 Whitehall Rd., Albany, N.Y., on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at 11 a.m., followed by interment at St Joseph's Cemetery, 40 Middletown Rd., Waterford, N.Y.
