Norma Bennett Obituary
GUILDERLAND - Norma Magowan Bennett, 98, passed away peacefully at St. Peter's Hospital on Sunday, September 28, 2025.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Magowan and Marion G.G. Robertson.
Norma worked briefly for the American Automobile Association. She worked most of her life for Cooley Business Forms.
Mrs. Bennett was devoted to her family and looked forward to family gatherings. She especially adored spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Bennett; daughter, Cindy Trumble; and sisters, Hazel, Mona, Vera and Pauline. Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Kwarta; grandchildren, Michael Kwarta (Gina), Ericka Kwarta (Brad), Paul Trumble (Camilia) and John Trumble (Melissa). She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
As Norma did in life, she chose to continue giving even after her death. She chose to become a part of the Anatomical Gift Program at Albany Medical College. Due to this choice, there will be no services at this time.
