Bauman, Norman ALTAMONT Our beloved adoptive dad, Norman Bauman, passed away on August 1, 2022. Born in Brookline, Mass., Norman was a loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox, regardless of their standing. Some of the best years of his life were those he spent with his "Sweetie," Marijo, his daughters, and with "old friends" whom he loved. Aboard the classic ketch, Old Friend, the warmest memories were forged along the majestic Hudson River. Shared stories, shared meals, and loads of laughter among friends were on Norman's list of cherished things. Norman was a writer and a generous patron of the arts. For Norman, classical music including Mozart and Beethoven was a necessity. His naturally well-timed and dry wit had a style all his own. Subtle and sincere, Norman always had a listening ear for those in need. We hope that he is at peace with our mom and soaring among the stars. reillyandson.com
