Patricia Dahl Obituary
ROCKAWAY, N.J. - Patricia Dahl (nee Taffe), 79, of Rockaway, N.J., passed peacefully on November 28, 2025, following a long illness.
Born in Albany, N.Y., to William and Ellen (Upton) Taffe, her childhood was filled with music and family. Pat graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a degree in history, and her vocation for teaching began in the Troy City School District, where she met her husband of 55 years, Jack.
Together, they raised five children in Averill Park: Dr. Jake (Noelle) Dahl of Leawood, Kan., Jen Dahl of Rockaway, N.J., Jessica Haberland (Jeremy) of Poestenkill, N.Y., Kate Dahl of Rockaway, N.J., and Joe (Kelly) Dahl of Troy, N.Y. Her eight grandchildren loved their Nana dearly, and lots of nieces and nephews treasure their memories with Aunt Patsy.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Bill, Tommy, and Chris. She is survived by her husband; and children; as well as her siblings, Marybeth Taffe of Rochester, N.Y., and Br. Terry Taffe of New York City.
Friends and family are invited to call, Tuesday, December 2, from 4-7 p.m., in the Wm. J. Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk, Rensselaer. A service will be held following the calling hours, at 7 p.m., in the funeral home.

Dear Mary Beth, and family it´s been many years since we´ve seen one another but that picture of your sister look just like your mother. I remember all the wonderful times we had together what a beautiful family you came from . And always at this time of year your mom would take us all out Christmas caroling many years a good times may Patsy rest in peace love your old friend Mary Beth.

So sorry to hear of your loss. We didn't know her very well, but I'll always be grateful to her for playing the organ at our wedding in August of 1971.

Jessica, Kate and family-I am so sorry to hear that your Mom has passed. I remember her and your Dad fondly years ago going to all the Fire and EMS banquets in Sand Lake. Take comfort in knowing that many are thinking of you at the difficult time. May she rest in peace.
