I am so saddened to hear of about Patti. I only knew her a couple of years as teenagers, but our summers together on Kelm Lake with her, Mary, Liz, Pete, Chris and my cousins where the times of our lives - so special! Patti was so special and I see went on to accomplish wonderful things and a beautiful family. The times at the lake where so special, but I regret not keeping in touch over the years. My heartfelt condolences to her husband, children, Mary, family and friends. Way too young, but I see a life well lived. May God grant you all peace, grace, hope and love as you celebrate her life and morn her loss. I'm heartbroken!

Another angel received her wings today, Patti it was great working with you and I am happy to have known you thru work. We had one thing in common and we shared and talked. God will open those gates to heaven and invite you to an ever lasting world. You will be missed by many. Sending prayers to the family.

I met Patty DeFalco at Kelm Lake during a summer I´ll never forget. We were so young, but she completely captured my heart and soul in a way no one ever had before. Patty was kind, sweet, and full of life - just being around her made everything feel lighter.
One of my favorite memories was the night I borrowed a pink Cadillac because I knew how much she loved Bruce Springsteen. We went out to The Salty Dog and ended up getting caught in a snowstorm - but honestly, I didn´t mind a bit. That night felt like something out of a song, and I still smile every time I think of it.
Even years later, I often found myself thinking of her and how much joy she brought into my life. We stayed in touch for a while and even visited each other in our 20s - once in Commack, New York and again in Orlando, Florida - before life took us in different directions. She went on to build a beautiful family, and though we eventually lost touch, she always held a very special place in my heart.
Learning of her passing breaks my heart. Patty was truly special, and I´ll always remember the light, laughter, and kindness she brought into the world - and into my life.

I'm so very sorry to read of Patti's passing. Patti and I worked together for the state in the late 1990s. Her office was across from mine and we shared a lot of laughs and the joy of both of us being pregnant at the same time. I hope you will be comforted by many wonderful memories of Patti. My prayers go out to Patti´s family. I didn´t know Patti well, but anytime I was around her she was always so pleasant, funny, upbeat and kind and it was so apparent how much she adored her family. She seemed like a ray of sunshine. Hoping for peace and healing for her family.
