Turcotte, Patricia A.
TROY - Patricia A. Turcotte, 82, of Troy, peacefully entered into Eternal Life, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.
Born in Albany, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Paul and Olive Sharpe Jones, and was a graduate of Cohoes High School.
Mrs. Turcotte was primarily a housewife until her children were grown. At that time she worked at various part time jobs until she was called back home to take care of one of her grandchildren.
Pat loved many things in life, BINGO, Sudoku, puzzles, playing cards, reading, camping, and annual trips to Florida to stay with her son. She was a woman of very strong faith and her family meant the world to her. Her family came first and foremost. She was a present member and worshipped at Faith Lutheran Church in Speigletown and was a member of the Bells Choir at the Center Brunswick United Methodist Church.
Beloved wife of 63 years to Ronald J. "Ron" Turcotte; devoted mother of Marilynn Roarke, Janet (Don) Showalter, Tony Turcotte (Tammy), Tina (Eric) Gregoire, Caroline (Phil) Tramm, and the late Mark Turcotte; dear sister of Sharon (Mike) Gosden, Paula (Todd) Garneau, the late Marianne (late, Stan) Zydek, and the late Robert (late, Joyce) Jones; cherished grandmother of Katie Tenzcar, David Bishop (Kristen), Tom (Connie) Collins, Heather (Justin) Schmidt, Kayla (Keith) Gregory, Justin (Shana) Yerry, Nicole Turcotte, Brian Gregoire, and Danielle Tramm; also survived by nine adored great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and their families.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, at 1 p.m., at the John J. Sanvidge Funeral Home, 565 Fourth Ave, (at the corner of 115th St, in Lansingburgh), Troy, N.Y. 12182.
Relatives and friends are invited to Calling Hours at the funeral home that day, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Following the funeral service, interment will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, Waterford.
