Paul Gicewicz Obituary

Gicewicz, Paul J. CLIFTON PARK Paul J. Gicewicz, 74, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018, in Gloversville, N.Y. surrounded by his loving family. Paul was formerly of Clifton Park and Boght Corners and was a graduate of Shaker High School. Paul was a longtime employee of The Town of Colonie Highway Department until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing; especially at his favorite place, Cedar River Flow. For many years, Paul was also a devoted member of the Boght Corners Volunteer Fire Department. Paul is survived by his daughters, Sarah and Charlotte Gicewicz; and his wife Linda Stempel Gicewicz. Also left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Ernest (Patricia) Gicewicz, Wayne Gicewicz, David (Kathleen) Gicewicz, Timothy (Lori) Gicewicz and Thomas Gicewicz; as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Paul was predeceased by his beloved mother, Ann (Band) Gicewicz; and his brother Peter Gicewicz. The family would like to thank the staff of the Fulton Center for their care and support. Funeral services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements where entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, Clifton Park.
