Throughout his life, he had many hobbies and interests, with most revolving around classic cars and sports. Paul's loyalty to the New York Mets and Jets extended back to the 1960s. Despite decades of disappointment, he remained a faithful fan. He enjoyed many seasons of coaching his sons in baseball and volunteering at Hudson Valley Little League. Upon retirement, Paul and his wife, Jenny, moved to Florida, where he treasured his time spent with his grandchildren, Jada and Jordan.
