My favorite Pete memory: When I was 10 yrs. old Pete headed off to college.
He attended St. Francis College in Biddeford, ME. It was a really big deal and my parents were so proud. He was a typical teenager except he was meticulous about his clothes and appearance. He was always clean shaven with a short haircut and
always had everything ironed perfectly. So, off he went to college with trunks of new, neatly pressed clothes and a great haircut. When he came home for Thanksgiving break I went to the Albany Airport with my father to pick him up.
When Pete stepped off the plane we didn’t even recognize him. His hair was down to his shoulder, he had a full beard, he was wearing a really rumpled white shirt, cut off jean shorts, topsiders with no socks – and it was November and snowing!!!
But the best part for me was HE was really different. He brought home great music that I had never heard before (Savoy Brown, Elton John and lots more) and told me about his classes. Philosophy, Art History, Economics – everything was different and new to me. From that day forward my fate was sealed. I knew that somehow, someway I was going
away to college too- to be just like my big brother Pete.
My whole life it has always been – Petie, Rena, Butchie, Nicky & Ro
And in my heart it will always be Petie, Rena, Butchie, Nicky & Ro.
Thanks for being a great big brother and for always looking out for me.
Love always, Ro

My most significant memory of Peter was Mother's Day, 1990. John and I showed up at your parents house for the celebration. Peter, John and I all had huge grins on our faces waiting for the rest of you to notice my finger. Pete was so funny, he had "guided" John through the process. I will remember him always. I am so sorry for all that you have been through and all that you are going through. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Linda, Nicholas and Andrew
I am so sorry to hear the sudden passing of your husband and father.
Linda, I remember working with you at AMC L&D and all the funny stories you and I would share. I especially remember the story you told me about your honeymoon trip in Italy and your rental car experience! Even though we have lost touch through the years, I have always thought of you from time to time and remembered how much you love your family and what a beautiful smile you always had on your face.
I will keep you in my prayers always..
Life is so hard at times and we just have to hold on to our faith and know someday we will all be reunited with our loved ones..

Linda, Nicholas, and Andrew,
I was so sorry to hear about Pete passing away. Quite honestly it was so hard to believe. Pete has been such a wonderful Friend to our Family that when I would talk about him it was as though he was Family.
Although it has been quite awhile since we have seen each other; Nicholas, my Brother and I were just kids ourselves when you would come over to the house, but Pete would always keep us up to date on how everyone was doing.
You are in our thoughts, he was a very caring and patient man, and may he rest in peace.

Linda, Nicholas and Andrew,

Our prayers are with all of you during this time of sadness. Lou and I are so greatful that we were able to see him this past summer while visiting in NY. Lou had just spoken to Pete the day before you called. May happy memories carry you through this time of sorrow. Lou and I have so many, from dancing at your wedding, Pete carrying a pager deer hunting when you were pregnant with Nicholas, all of the fun with all of the hunters at our house during hunting season, and so many more.

Linda, Nick & Drew,

Jeff and I had the pleasure of getting to know Peter over the past two years watching the boys and Chelsea play soccer. We loved talking to him about the game and his love of cooking. We are so sorry that his life was cut short. May you all find strength in the wonderful memories he has left with you 3 and your extended family.

Hang in there.

Linda, Nicholas & Andrew: I was so sad to hear of Pete' passing. I have fond memories of your Dad being at our house (Lou & Bonnie Crocco's) when I was little. Your Dad was always like family to us. Nicholas, I even remember your Dad bringing you when you were little to our house and you all would go hunting with my Dad. Your father was a good friend to my family and especially my Dad. Even after my folks moved to TN, your father always kept in touch with my Dad. Your Dad was loved and he will be missed. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
