Peter Duperrouzel Obituary

Duperrouzel, Peter E. CLIFTON PARK Peter E. Duperrouzel, 77, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015, at Saratoga Center for Nursing and Rehab. Born in Kingston, Jamaica he is the son of the late Romeo and Monica Duncker. Peter proudly served his country in the United States Army and then worked for more than 30 years in shareholders relations with the Texaco Co. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Oakland, N.J. and was a communicant of St. Edward the Confessor. Peter is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Kathleen Duperrouzel; his children, Peter J. (Angela) Duperrouzel, Patrice (Ralph) Carl and Brian (Stephanie) Duperrouzel; his brother, David Christian; his sisters, Carol (Val) Perez, Deanna (Joe) Corrigan and his twin sister Paula (the late Jim) Allen; and his cherished grandchildren, Brendan, Kayla, Lexi, Conor, Chase and Carter. Peter was predeceased by his brother, Wayne Duperrouzel and his sister, Beverly (Jack) Dempsey. Those wishing to remember Peter in a special way may make memorial contributions in his name to the American Cancer Society 260 Osborne Road, Albany, NY 12205. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Peter on Friday, October 30, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward the Confessor Church in Clifton Park. Burial will follow with full military honors at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted by the family to the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home.
