I was nervous about meeting my new brother in law in 1988 but within minutes he made me feel so comfortable that wheelchair disappeared and he was just Phil. He was an amazing, kind, caring person and this world is empty without him. I'm going to miss him dearly.

This world built two, though now it seems unfair one half was taken from the brothers we were. I love you Phil and can't imagine not hearing your voice again. You made me a better person by your example and I was deeply proud you were my brother. Knowing your pain is no more comforts me in this time of sorrow. Romans 8:18 "Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later."

Dear Anne,
Sometimes there are just no words to express how deeply sorry I am to hear that such a beautiful soul is gone. We shared many good times together during our early years at Civil Service. My heart goes out to you and your family.
