Phyllis Davis Obituary
VOORHEESVILLE - Phyllis Finger Davis died Saturday, December 16, 2023, at Hospice Inn at St. Peter's Hospital. Born in Delmar, Phyllis had lived in Voorheesville for the past 63 years. In her younger years, Phyllis worked for Hallmark Cards and then began a career at the NYS Department of Tax & Finance where she worked until her retirement in 2000. Phyllis lived her life with compassion and was always focused on her motto "Be Kind." She enjoyed playing bridge and gardening.
Phyllis was the wife of the late Elwin "Dave" Davis; mother of Scott J. Davis of Voorheesville; sister of the late Henry "Buddy" Finger; and aunt of Linda, Sharon and Nancy.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Community Hospice of Albany Inn at St. Peter's, 315 So. Manning Blvd., Albany, N.Y. 12208 would be appreciated.
