Dear Nora,
I just found out this evening that Ray had died. I am so very sorry. I could see that you loved each other very much. I wish I could say something to mend your broken heart. I know that only lots of time, family and fellowship can make it even bearable. My prayers are with you. God bless you.

Dear Nora and Liz, I am sad for your loss. I know I have only known your family for a short time. In that time, I have learned more ways to love my own father. I also learned about soul mates and the strength of family when that bond of love is so strong. Continue to carry that strength with you ladies!

Reading a synopsis of Ray's life you can't be other than impressed. He was obviously a great man in life. I truely feel for those, his immediate family, that have him no more. I'm sure I met Ray at one time, but I was so young I unfortunately can't remember. Seeing what I see here regarding the comments about how people felt about him and, again, what he did during his life time, I feel as though I've missed a great opportunity to know a very good person that was a part of my family.
To Ray's immediate family, my family and I want to convey our sincere condolences. I've always felt close to Aunt Loretta and, thus, to the rest of her family.
God bless Ray and the people that are truely grieving his passing right now.

Nora and family,
I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Ray was my friend, mentor and on many occasions my only friend. I am so very sorry I can’t be there right now, but please know I have prayed many prayers for Ray in the past months and even more the past few days. I will continue my prayers for you.
Please know that there are no loses only gifts.

Dear Nora and Elizabeth,
I am sorry to hear of Ray's passing. Although I may not have seen you all in recent years, I have very fond memories of Ray. He knew how to make me laugh, (even to laugh at myself sometimes when I took myself too seriousely). He had a kind, gentle way of helping me feel at ease. You couldn't kid a kidder, and all he had to do was give me a grin to tell me he understood. He loved you both very much. I watched his face light up when he saw you both! He was so very proud of you. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Ray will be fondly remembered and missed.

dear Nora and Elizabeth, I am so sorry for your loss. Ray may have been only a step-dad to my brothers and my sister and I ,but he was the best dad I have ever known. He was a kind man with a caring heart. I am saddened that we lost touch over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
