Raymond Corti Obituary
Raymond was educated in the Rensselaer school system. After high school, he enlisted in the Army, and served in Germany. After his honorable discharge from the Army, he was employed at Pioneer Bank and retired after 30 years of service. Raymond enjoyed fishing, classic cars, good food and friends. Raymond was a life member of the American Legion in Wyantskill Post 1489.
Raymond predeceased by his mother, Elizabeth Morse-O'Dell, stepfather, Herman O'Dell; devoted companion, Henrietta Keoughan; siblings, Heather O'Dell, John and Robert O' Dell.
Raymond is survived by brother, Paul O'Dell; sister, Donna Cortie; caretaker and cousin, Linda Green; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family would like to thank Fresenius Kidney Care of Latham Dialysis and St. Peter's Hospital for all of their care and compassion.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 14, from 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, N.Y. 12205. A funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment with full military honors will follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. Mr. Ray... You Sir will sadly be Missed by All who knew you.. A Special Person to ME, you will always Be.. You touched my Heart, the Moment I met you. Your Kindness, Your Generosity, Your Personality & Your Stubbornness too... There will only be 1 Mr.Ray, in my Lifetime & You Sir were he. May You Sleep Peacefully now, & Please watch over & Guide Linda ... she's going to be So Lost without you here.
