I have wonderful memories from when I was a child fishing in my Uncle George's and Dick's back yard where he would prepare the most amazing meals for us when we visited!! Unfortunately, I didn't find out of his passing until after the service or I would have attended. I have submitted a picture that he took of our family when we were there. They are now reunited in peace and love. I will miss you both!! <3

Mr. LABARGE was my fourth grade teacher.
In our year we made 4x6 foot relief map of NEW YORK State(out of plaster).
He was great teacher. He inspired us all.

I remember Mr. LaBarge well. He was my 4th grade teacher in 1960. He always challenged me, and all his students, to do our very best. My condolences to the family. May God bless you with peace and comfort during this difficult time.

Mr. LaBarge was my 6th grade teacher in 1971 and years later while living in the Village of Schuylerville, we passed on a sidewalk. He remembered me and called to me by name. He was a wonderful teacher and an even greater man.

A dear Friend who always was there to help, to advise and to support has passed to a greater place. Dick and George loved to travel New England always looking for treasures for their Black Shutters. So happy that he could visit St. Augustine and view the Titanic exhibit in Orlando with which he was fascinated. Godspeed my Friend- you will be truly missed. B.J. Warner

I am so sorry for the loss of this fine man. I got to know Dick and George when we used to have lunch at The Green Acres in Greenwich. I was there with friends and we just got talking and I always enjoyed their conversations. We shared the love of lunch at Simon Pearce in Vermont as well. Such a fascinating and delightful man. He will be missed.
