Richard Quick Obituary

BERNE, N.Y. Richard H. Quick, 47 years, of Berne, died suddenly at his home on March 18, 2006. He was born in Catskill, N.Y. on May 9, 1958, son of the late Royal and Catherine (Sisson) Quick. He was formerly employed by Heldeberg Bluestone in East Berne, N.Y. Richard was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting and fishing. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Westerlo. Surviving are his wife, Mindy (Stark) Quick of Berne; his three sons, Richard Quick Jr., Brandon Quick and Nicholas Quick; and his daughter, Katie Quick, all of Berne. Also surviving are two brothers, Royal Quick and his wife Karen and Robert Quick and his wife Nicole of Westerlo, N.Y.; and two sisters, Regina Schreider and her husband Alan of Westerlo, and Rose Quick of Albany, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Westerlo, under the direction of the Cunningham Funeral Home. Friends are invited to call at the church prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Interment will be in the Westerlo Rural Cemetery. Those who wish may contribute in Richard's memory to the First Baptist Church of Westerlo, Westerlo, NY 12193.
