everyone who knew the altruistic, benevolent, humorous Dr.Uncle Bob will forever cherish the great memories he has left us w/.
I know the pain and hurt seem unbearable at this time..take comfort in each and lean on those closest to you. although i only met uncle Bob once...I feel fortunate o be able to put his face to the stories Karl loves to share about the uncle he so adored and admired. Please forgive me for not being there by Karls side and celebrate Uncle Bobs wonderful life.I heard the singing (danny's Boy)and the picture show of uncle bobs life brought a tear to everyones eye.
I hope I get 2 see all of you on a more joyous occasion, W/ my deepest sympathy hollydara

Our sincere condolences to the Davies and Tilly families. We did not know Mr. Davies directly, only through our daughter, Barbara, who shared with us what a remarkable and engaging man he was. Our thoughts are with you.

I knew Dr. Davies only from a great distance and then only through the hearts and eyes of his daughter, Laura and her husband, Doug. I learned of his experiences in WWII and of his return and endeavor to become a physician and a healer. I know that he touched thousands of people over the course of his life and that he and his wife modeled for their children a way of living that is compassionate, warm, intelligent, courageous and giving. May your love for him accompany him as he journeys forth.

My deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Davies, Krohmal, Tilly, Carpinello and Eckert families. Taid was a truly great man: with Jo, the warm and witty center of a loving family; a magnet for friends, strangers and those lucky enough to enter his orbit; a loyal and steadfast American; and a grateful son of Vermont and Wales. He will be missed most by the close-knit family he leaves behind, but also by a large number of us fortunate enough to have had their lives enriched by his friendship -- something I thankfully had for 30 years.
