ALBANY Robert J. Marino, 55, of Quarry Drive, died on Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Albany Medical Center following a long illness. Born in Albany on February 7, 1949, Mr. Marino was the son of the late Ralph A. and Lucy (DiBella) Marino. Mr. Marino earned his associates degree from Hudson Valley Community College and was employed by Eddy Home Care as a home health aid for several years. He was an avid reader and also enjoyed wood working. Robert is survived by his wife, Regina (Benway) Marino, to whom he was married on June 16, 1991. In addition, he is survived by one brother, Ronald Marino and his wife Diane; one sister, Rosemarie Dolan and her husband Ronald; a stepson, Michael Benway as well as six nephews, one niece and two great-nieces. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Marino. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff at Albany Medical Center's D-5 North Wing for their kindness and compassion while caring for Mr. Marino. Funeral services to which relatives and friends are invited will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the Tebbutt & Frederick Memorial Home, 633 Central Avenue in Albany. The family will receive visitors Thursday evening from 4 to 8 at the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow the service at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Vascular Institute at Albany Medical Center, 47 New Scotland Avenue, Albany, NY 12208.

I'm sorry to hear of your lose. I'm sure you will miss your loved one very much. Although the lost of a love one is hard to bare, its nice to know someone cares. I would like to send my condolences to you and your whole family.

Bob was a very interesting person,
it was nice to have known him and to sit and talk too.
He will be Missed at Albany Reginal Kideny Center.
