PORT ORANGE, Fla. - Robert C. McLean, age 56, of Port Orange, Fla., passed away January 6, 2026.
He was born September 30, 1969 in Elmira, N.Y. He was predeceased by his mother, Mary Lou Ryan; and Poppy, James Ryan. He was also predeceased by his bothers, Richard Peabody Jr. (Dickie) and Michael Peabody.
Bob is survived by his wife and best friend, Carol Lewick; his brother, Scott Peabody, of Port Orange, Fla.; and Kellie McLean Harrison (Kris), of Broadalbin, N.Y. He is also survived by his loving children, Joshua McLean (Kendra), of Guilderland, N.Y., Cory McLean (Kayla), of Ballston Spa, N.Y., Valerie Schrump (Andrew), of Stephentown, N.Y., and Keith Lewick (Chelsea), of Schenectady, N.Y.; and his cherished grandchildren, nieces and great-nieces and nephews.
Bob is a graduate of Burnt Hills Ballston Lake Senior High School. He was a lifelong Chicago Bears fan, and a lover of music, fast cars, motorcycles, hockey, and his dogs. Prior to moving to Florida, Bob resided in Waterford, N.Y., and was owner of Halfmoon Auto Care, in Halfmoon, N.Y. Bob loved the time at his garage, and appreciated the loyalty and relationships with his clients. He took great pride in his willingness to go out of his way to help his patrons.
Bob's passing comes too soon in life. He will be greatly and deeply missed by those who had the opportunity to know Bob and his love and kindness. He rests easy knowing his memory, stories, teaching and words of encouragement will carry on.
