Ronald Albert "Skeeters" Moeske

Moeske, Ronald Albert "Skeeters" HOFFMEISTER, N.Y. Ronald Albert 'Skeeters' Moeske, 72, of Highway Rt 8, died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Samuel Stratton VA Medical Center Albany, after a brief illness. Born in Troy, he was son of the late Peter Albert Moeske and Caroline Green Moeske and special friend of Arlene J. Lent of Duanesburg. He was raised in Green Island and resided in Fish Creek and Ballston Lake and later Hoffmeister since 1997. He was a graduate of Heatly High School Green Island. Skeeters was a self-employed long haul truck driver for many years and prior to that operated Skeeters Salvage Yard in Watervliet. He was an Air Force veteran. Survivors include several cousins. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryce Funeral Home, Inc. , 276 Pawling Avenue, Troy on Tuesday from 5- 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Brent Bushen, pastor of the Schoharie Valley Gospel Church, officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy.
